The facility, located at 1810 E Poinsett Extension Suite 2 in Greer, SC, is now enrolling students. The school will offer Class A and Class B CDL training programs to students.

This new campus expands TransTech’s presence in South Carolina, becoming the company’s second training location in the state and part of a larger network of CDL centers throughout the Southeast. The company announced plans to open a third South Carolina campus in Charleston, expected to launch as early as Spring 2026.

New Campus Features Modern Truck Driving Facilities

Equipped with modern facilities and hands-on instruction, TransTech is committed to preparing graduates for careers in trucking and transportation.

Bob Boniface, Co-CEO and CFO of TransTech, emphasized the company’s commitment to the industry:

“The Spartanburg campus allows us to expand capacity, reach more students, and help meet the growing demand for highly skilled, safety-focused professional drivers throughout the region.”

With continued freight growth and high demand for qualified drivers, TransTech’s expansion aims to create skilled truck drivers to fill existing roles and create new career opportunities in the region.

Tyrel Sulzer, Co-CEO and COO, highlighted the campus’s role in local economic development:

“This new campus strengthens our ability to serve employers, create local jobs, and help individuals build stable, long-term careers.”

The Spartanburg facility will employ residents as instructors and administrative staff and is expected to train hundreds of new drivers annually, supporting the manufacturing, distribution, and transportation sectors.

The Spartanburg campus joins other TransTech campuses:

TransTech’s programs adhere to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and state regulatory standards, including those set by the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT).
