CLASS B CDL Program AT TRANSTECH
Truck Driver Training in North Carolina
TransTech’s Class B CDL training program is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions as Class B vehicle operators. No prior experience in driving commercial trucks or heavy equipment is required for enrollment in the TransTech program.
All Class B CDL applicants must meet the same qualifications outlined by the FMCSA as the Class A CDL program. Additionally, students are required to pass the physical examination requirements mandated by the Department of Transportation.
- Location: 9 locations across North Carolina
- Duration: 4 Weeks
- Schedule: Weekday classes are available for Class B CDL training.
- Requirements: To enroll, students must possess a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years old.
- Upon Completion: Students will undergo their Class B CDL exam on-site, administered by an approved tester.
CLASS B CDL CURRICULUM
TransTech’s Class B CDL training is structured to equip students to successfully take and pass their CDL B exam upon graduation. The program initiates in the classroom before progressing to the range and hands-on driving experience. The majority of the program is dedicated to range training, ensuring students gain ample confidence and experience behind the wheel.
