Yes, there is no a cost to ever attend an TransTech Open House. They are free and open to the public.

Can anybody attend?

Yes, anybody can attend. No prior truck driving experience is needed. An open house is an opportunity to bring family and friends with you, including kids.

Can I bring my family?

Yes, family and friends are encouraged to attend, and everybody can tour the facilities and trucks with you.

What day do you have an Open House?

TransTech holds their open houses on Saturday from 10am–2pm to make it easier for working adults and their families to attend.

What time do they occur?

TransTech plans their open houses on Saturday from 10am–2pm. We do this so that people who are working can attend and bring their families as well.

Is it only for Class A drivers?

No, our TransTech Open House will allow you to learn about both Class A and Class B CDL training.

Can I get in a truck?

Absolutely! At a TransTech open house, you’ll get the opportunity to get inside a truck and see what it’s like to hold the steering wheel, sit in the driver’s seat, adjust the mirrors, and more.

Can I drive a truck?

No. For the safety of our guests, we do not allow attendees to drive a truck. However, as soon as you enroll and begin your Class A or Class B training, we’ll get you behind the wheel!

Can I speak to drivers and recruiters?

We invite carriers to send recruiters and drivers to our open houses. Generally, there are several companies represented, and some of our own TransTech graduates bring their trucks

Can I talk to admissions?

Yes, you can speak to admissions, and you can complete your enrollment or the next steps to take.

Can I talk to job placement?

Yes, we can talk about job placement, the types of trucking jobs, the income potential, and more.

Is there pressure to enroll?

No pressure at all! A TransTech open house is an opportunity to determine if trucking is the right career for you. And if you’re ready, we will have staff on hand to help you take the next step.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothing and shoes, as you will be walking on our range to see the trucks.

What should I bring?

If you are interested in enrolling, remember to bring your valid driver’s license to complete your enrollment agreement.
